Before you pay
- Never share an OTP, UPI PIN, CVV, password or remote-access code.
- Verify the person, property, goods and payment recipient yourself.
- A convincing profile, image, badge or document does not prove identity.
- Use traceable payments and confirm the recipient's name.
- MyStreetBiz never requests money to release refunds or restore access.
Property and rental checks
- Visit the property before paying.
- Verify ownership and the seller's or landlord's authority.
- Check encumbrances, approvals, utilities and written terms with qualified professionals.
- Scores and profiles do not provide legal, title, engineering or valuation assurance.
- For PGs and shared housing, check rules, deposits and operator identity.
- Also check emergency exits and local permissions.
Products meetings
- Meet in a busy, well-lit place.
- Tell someone where you are going.
- Avoid carrying large cash amounts.
- Inspect and test the item before paying.
- Treat courier, QR-code, refund, deposit and urgency stories as high risk.
- End contact if someone requests sensitive details or off-platform conversations.
Services & Businesses
- Verify registrations, licences, insurance, references and written scope.
- Agree milestones, materials, warranties, invoices and change terms.
- Ratings and verification labels are signals, not guarantees.
- Compare several providers and keep written records.
Jobs
- Never pay for interviews, applications, offers, training, equipment or guaranteed placement.
- Genuine employers explain lawful costs in writing and do not demand advances.
- Verify employers through official sites, addresses, records and live conversations.
- Watch for personal email, chat-only interviews, high pay, urgency or vague duties.
- Avoid roles asking you to receive or transfer money.
- Never share sensitive credentials or unnecessary identity documents.
- Review the role, salary, hours, benefits, manager, probation, notice and contract.
- Employers must use lawful criteria, protect applicant data and avoid unrelated marketing.
Report and get help

- Report website bugs through Report a problem.
- For immediate danger or suspected crime, contact emergency services or police.
- For cybercrime or payment fraud, contact your bank and official reporting channels.
- MyStreetBiz cannot provide emergency help.
