• Visit the property and verify ownership, authority to rent/sell, encumbrances, approvals, utilities, and the written agreement with qualified professionals.
• Do not rely on a score, listing, broker, lawyer, or professional profile as legal, valuation, engineering, or title assurance.
• For PGs and shared housing, confirm house rules, deposit/refund terms, identity of the operator, emergency exits, and local permissions.

• Meet in a populated, well-lit place; tell someone where you are going; avoid carrying large cash amounts.
• Inspect and test the item before paying. Treat courier, QR-code, refund, deposit, and urgency stories as high-risk until independently verified.
• Stop contact if anyone pressures you to move the conversation away from recorded channels or asks for sensitive credentials.

• Verify registrations, licences, insurance, references, written scope, milestones, materials, warranty, tax invoice, and change-order terms where relevant.
• Ratings and verification labels are signals, not guarantees. Compare multiple providers and retain written records.

Use the report control shown on a property or Marketplace post when available. For a professional profile, another account, or conduct inside Messages, raise an urgent safety ticket. You can also report a product defect for a website bug. If there is immediate danger, suspected crime, or financial fraud, contact the appropriate Indian emergency, police, cybercrime, bank, or payment-provider channel directly; MyStreetBiz cannot provide emergency response.
